The Minnesota Digital Library (MDL) is a database of digitized original materials shared by cultural heritage organizations across Minnesota. These materials include images, text, audio, film, and more, with new items added on a regular basis. The resources found on this site support research for scholars, educators, students, and the public. Since their founding in 2003, they have digitized more than 55,000 items such as photographs, postcards, maps, documents, letters, and oral histories. These materials are available online in a free, searchable collection.
