National Library Week 2025

This year's theme is "Drawn to the Library," with honorary chairpersons Raina Telgemeier and Scott McCloud, graphic novel authors.

National Library Week, April 6-12, 2025, is a celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.

The first National Library Week was observed in 1958 with the theme "Wake Up and Read!" The 2025 celebration marks the 67th anniversary of the first event.
