Due to budgetary constraints, patrons may have had difficulty borrowing from Hoopla even though they haven’t reached their “5 borrows a month” limit. For users having this issue, we recommend trying to borrow in the morning. If patrons are still not able to borrow, we recommend using our other online resource: CloudLibrary

Additionally: if there is a book that users are looking for that isn’t available on CloudLibrary, we encourage the use of the “Suggestion” function. Each patron is allowed 5 suggestions a month and we welcome the input to help us grow our collection.

To suggest a book, please use the CloudLibrary app. When on the search page, users can click the “filter” option on the top right of the screen. This will allow them to filter via “suggestions for the library”. Once this has been selected, they can search the title or author and “suggest” the book.
